The Importance of a Sales Funnel System
A sales funnel can help you guide potential customers through the sales process to ensure they purchase from you and stay loyal customers. Businesses can utilize sales funnels to figure out the best way to grab the attention of their target public, overcome objections, make more sales and engage them.
1. Get Attention
This is the first time that your target audience learns about your company. You can do this by placing advertisements in places where your target audience will be able to see them, releasing a press releases, writing keyword-rich blog articles, or hosting free webinars. The goal is to convince your prospects to join your email list and follow your social media accounts, because they are interested.
2. Engage them
You've now gotten the attention of your potential customers by including them on your email list. Keep their interest and provide more value. You want to tell them about your product, services, and ways you can help them solve their problems. You can still provide them with the same information as in the attention phase (blog posts, eBooks and videos). This phase requires that you give more specific and relevant information.

3. Take into account
The potential customer knows they need the item or service. However, they require more details to determine if it is the best product to solve their problem. This will allow you to get to know your customers and make them believe in you.
Consultations, webinars, product demonstrations, and testimonials from customers will help you gain a better knowledge of the product.
As prospects are gathered into your funnel, you need to immediately start the leads qualification process. This is where most activity takes place. The quicker you can sort leads, the quicker you move down the funnel to convert the opportunity into a sale. This is the stage in which you must continue to communicate with the potential buyer.
You can ask them questions about their experience with your content and maybe ask them for suggestions on how you could do to improve the site. Your user experience must be top-notch. Engage them (sometimes called nurturing) through an activity on your website, such as an online contest, through your blog or videos( you want to encourage them to leave comments), via online chat and the likes. This is the way to building a loyal customer base.
After they are engaged, you are now able to offer them value. It is possible to provide informational graphics, reports and tips sheets to your leads. Give value to your customers and make it easier for them to go down the funnel.
You must delight everyone! Your customers should feel that they received a great deal after they have left your site. Don't be a failure to send Thank You emails when they spend time to converse with you. This will make your service stand out.
4. Intent
The prospect has already decided to purchase the product. They must now decide exactly which product they require when comparing one over the other. Your blog posts will create confidence in your readers regarding the superior offerings and services that you offer. Or, an email newsletter can make your brand stand out as an authority.
5. Evaluation
The prospect is already convinced that they require an item similar to yours. This stage is when you convince them that you're the best person to do the task. You can do that by using a variety of content. This includes product focused reports and webinars, as well as free or low cost consultations or limited time offers or coupons to encourage purchasing right now.
6. Stage for purchase
This is where your prospect will actually decide to purchase. But, your work isn't over. The sales funnel has been reopened. You need to move your customer onto your other products and into an entirely new sales funnel. They are more likely to purchase from you in the future if they've previously bought from you. This is because they trust you to solve their problems.
If you plan it properly the sales funnel will turn leads into customers and put your business on autopilot.
