What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel and why should every marketer online create one?

It is a marketing strategy to convince potential customers to buy products from your company. It's a sales method that lets someone visit your blog in search of information that can solve their issue. With certain tools you will be able to learn to build a relationship and build confidence with every user.

This will help you better understand each visitor's needs. This will help you provide the best information possible to all visitors. If you are able to gain trust from a visitor, they are more likely to buy your products. The visitor then becomes a client.

Certain customers turn out to be extremely loyal customers, ready to buy every product you advertise. A marketing funnel outlines the steps involved in turning a visitor to your website into a client who will come back to you for all future purchases.

For any internet marketer that is their ultimate objective. This can easily be accomplished by constructing a funnel that is well-designed.

Your promotional materials are drawing attention of people and leading them to your funnel. The funnel is opened when they fill in the forms on your PERSONAL lead capture page. Because nobody is going to sign up on your company's lead capture page, I have declared it "personal". They are looking to become a leader, and not a business.

The lead capture page acts as the entry point into the funnel. Clicking the "Sign Up now" and "Enter Here" buttons will open a new realm of marketing via network.

The best thing is that they're qualified to do it. It's their decision. You've sold them nothing except yourself as a leader as a mentor and as someone who can help them increase leads and bring more money into their businesses.

This is how a standard marketing funnel works:

At the "front-end" you have an offer that is free to draw and qualify people who may be interested in purchasing your products further down the sales funnel. To receive your free product you must join (also called opt-in) and give your email address and name. Then you'll add them to your mailing list.

You now have these people on your email and you can offer them similar offers that might interest them.

Right after signing up for the free offer you'll be directed to a webpage that has a low-cost offer or what's known as trip wire offers. This is where they'll be taken to the "backend" of your funnel.

They will be taken to a related offer at a lower price if they purchase the low-priced offer (also known as an upsell). If the person buys the higher-priced offer and is taken to another related product that is priced higher. This could go on for a long time.
