The Sales Funnel For Effective Online Marketing
For centuries the sales funnel has been integral to traditional business and marketing. I've observed that funnels for Internet business are becoming increasingly well-known.
The truth of the matter is that folks are eager to learn more about this concept of marketing and how they can use it in their online business marketing efforts. Continue reading to learn more about the sales funnel to effective Internet marketing.
What is the Sales Funnel?
A marketing funnel does not necessarily mean a funnel. The reason for using the term "funnel" for this concept of marketing is to aid in visualizing and explaining the sales process from beginning to the end. It has a broad opening for customers who are known as "Unqualified Prospects" at the top, and a smaller opening for sales conversion at the lower end. This is a good comparability.

The "unqualified prospects", also called people who are not qualified, will be in the middle of the funnel. They might require your product or service but have never been approached prior to. After several sales and promotions you'll have customers who have bought your product or service.
The effectiveness of a lead generation funnel is also due to the capability to monitor the activities of your customers at various stages of the sales process. The sales funnel permits you to predict the number of potential customers that will eventually become customers by determining the prospects who are qualified at each stage.
It is possible to use the sales funnel to identify where and how your sales process is working or not, and also if you are not getting enough potential customers. This information allows you to choose exactly the areas you need to concentrate your efforts and to maintain sales at the necessary level as well as, to fulfill marketing goals. It is used to monitor and manage customers' sales processes.
The Front- End or the Sales Funnel The top
The top part of your sales funnel should undergo the most constant testing and be the most engaged. You'll discover virtually limitless front-end strategies that are limited only by your imagination and resources.
The primary goal of the front-end will be to draw in potential clients and convert these buyers into buyers through the sales funnel.
A potential customer is "qualified" once they have signed up for the product or service you offer. This is the moment when the prospective customer or "Unqualified Lead" is qualified. It's because they took an action that indicates that they may be interested in purchasing your product or services.
You need to create targeted traffic to your blog, website or squeeze page in order for your front-end to work. PPC adverts articles, banners, article marketing, PPC advertisements, social media (Google+ Twitter Facebook YouTube), YouTube banners, blog posting forums, and many other sources are some of the most effective techniques and sources.
You'll find that there are a variety of tools available that can be used to "qualify" the "Unqualified prospect". One of the most effective ways to qualify prospects is by creating a squeeze page. This allows you offer something of value related to your product that people can get for free or at a significantly reduced price in exchange for their name and email. The products included include newsletters, video, email courses, eBooks, and other related reports.
We can see that the front-end is where people are attracted to your sales funnel. But what do you think of the back-end?
The Back-End or Bottom of the Funnel
The bottom or back end of the sales funnel is where major sales and profits are generated. It typically contains your highest priced products. Basically these would be relevant to the same niche but delivered in different formats, such as audio, video live interaction, or private consult.
The primary difference between the front end and back-end lies in the kind of client and the cost of the service or product that is being provided.
It is the case that only a small percentage, perhaps 1 to 2 percent of the total number of people who enter your front-end, will be able to make it into your back-end. Since a small portion of people spend more money, it's okay.
Although front-end products and services might be cheaper than $100, back-end services and products are usually priced in the hundreds or thousands. This make the bottom or back end of the sales funnel the main source of revenue for your Internet business, it's also the most predictable and solid area in this sales funnel.
As I mentioned in the past, the sales funnel is customizable as much as your imagination and resources allow.
